Newborn rescued from under the rubble of a collapsed building is now safe in hospital

A newborn baby that was rescued from under the rubble of a collapsed building in the northwestern Syrian town of Jinderis is now safely in an incubator at the children's hospital in the nearby town of Afrin.

Footage showed the moment the miracle newborn was carried to safety in the arms of a rescuer after she was found still attached to her mother by the umbilical cord. While the little girl survived the earthquake, her mother died after giving birth.
The baby's body temperature had fallen to 35 degrees and she was found with bruises on her body according to physicians, but she is now in a stable condition.
